Verumatic, is an AI-based tech company that structures and monitors political data. The company makes political processes transparent by collecting and analyzing political documents, from municipal level and up.

Political decisions shape a lot of what companies can and can’t do. The problem was never a lack of decisions, it was that the data behind them is fragmented, scattered, and nearly impossible to piece together. Verumatic structures that data and makes it usable.

The pilot version launched in November and is already used by everyone from journalists to energy and real estate companies looking to keep track of their political landscape.

Through Hite Incubator, the company gets business advisory support and a network to keep building the platform.

Behind Verumatic are two founders with deep experience in both software and the public sector. William comes from a B2G background, focused on sales and market development for software solutions aimed at the public sector. Edward is a software entrepreneur with a background in telecom, who previously ran a fintech startup, today he owns the technical development.

At Hite, Verumatic is shifting into a higher gear: developing the platform further, testing solutions, and reaching further into business, public sector and policymakers who need to track their political landscape.

Verumatic turns political decisions into something companies can follow, understand and act on in real time, giving them an actual chance to influence what affects their business. That’s especially relevant in Gotland, where the distance between business, public sector and policymakers is short, and policy meets reality fast.
