Practical information
-
Start is for founders at the idea stage who want to turn a hunch into a real business. You don’t need a finished product, a registered company or previous startup experience. You just need an idea worth testing and the drive to find out if it holds up.
-
Start runs over 12 weeks. Sessions mix a short lesson with hands-on work – most of your time goes to talking to real customers, testing, and building, not sitting in a classroom. Some weeks have no session at all – you’re out in the field. The cohort format means you’re never doing this alone; you build a network of founders solving problems alongside you.
-
After 12 weeks you’ll have tested your concept with real users, a concrete plan for your next milestone, a network of mentors and fellow founders and a sharp pitch that gets attention from the first sentence – and clarity on whether to go all in, or change direction.
-
Graduates from Start often move directly into Build, Hite’s incubator for founders ready to scale. You’ll also stay connected to the Hite network, with access to mentors, investors and the broader Science Park Gotland ecosystem.
