When you’re caring for a child with a disability, there’s a lot you’re expected to learn.

Healthcare. School. Support services. Personal assistance.

But how do you take care of yourself?

That was a question Åsa Jonsson and Elisabeth Krogh found themselves without an answer to along the way.

That’s what sparked Andrum.

As mothers of adult children with disabilities, they know how easy it is to put all your time and energy into someone else. With Andrum, they want to create a space where caregivers and family members get to take up space too.

Through conversations, workshops, talks and courses, they offer support, knowledge and tools for a life that isn’t always easy.

“Sometimes, it’s about having a conversation. Sometimes, it’s about meeting others who understand. And sometimes, it’s about having a few hours where the focus can finally be on you.”

And their experience goes far beyond their professional backgrounds.

Between them, they bring experience in education, communication, coaching and care. But above all, years of navigating life as caregivers themselves.
